Sensitive Skin šš
Sensitive skin can be quite a troublemaker for a lot of us. Often genetically inherited but also created by using wrong products or not being aware of food allergies and sensitivities.šÆ
Common signs:
- burning, stinging or itching sensation
- rash
- hives
- eczema or dermatitis
- redness
- warm skin feeling
- breakouts
- peeling or cracked skin
- dryness
General rule is.......once you notice any reaction go back to the basics āāā
Solution:
- use hypoallergenic /made for sensitive skin products for some time š
- try to find out what might cause a reaction ( skin products or makeup) or what did you eat last 24 hours ššš
- stop using troublemaking products immediately.....don't try to convince yourself that will be fine ā
- seek doctor if reaction is dramatic
- take time and be gentle with your skin
Food sensitivities can cause a lot of those reactions so look into your diet what might be your trigger. Healthy gut is the solution to a lot of body problems āšÆā
Skin care suggestions for sensitive skin:
- Aveeno ( unless you have celiac), Cetaphil, Cerave, Simple are just few cosmetic lines known to be gentle on for your skin
- choose more natural based ingredients
